About Me

My photo
Eric French and Mr. Hyde
Providence, RI, United States
Eric French & Mr. Hyde is unapologetic, rock n’ bluz bombast set off by a powerfully introspective acoustic streak. Whether as a lean, explosive three piece in the tradition of The Experience, The Cream, and The Police, or alone with an acoustic guitar, EFMH delivers an intuitive examination of human nature; and someone just woke up in their underwear without a #2 pencil. Currently finishing up a self-titled debut, the project is based in Providence, RI. The dual, full-length profile of singer, guitarist, and songwriter Eric French’s two musical voices is deftly accompanied by Walter Skorupski (electric bass) and Eric Kalver (drums). Both the forthcoming record and live performances are a refresher course on sexuality, art, and human condition(ing) that kicks hard whether you’re listening to the murderous acoustic blues “Ain’t No Fury”, or smirk-pop, rockin “Always the Bridesmaid”. Currently, you can catch EFMH performing in Southern New England. Shortly, you’ll be able to buy your own little pieces of history. “It’s soo BIG” (Big Dream – EFMH)
